This document states the terms and conditions that create an agreement between Emily Morris Yoga and (the “Client”).


“Client” refers to the person(s) booking onto The Self Care Retreat and any other person(s) included in their booking.


This Agreement shall begin on the date of the booking (first payment received) and continue until the end of The Self Care Retreat. 


The Company (Emily Morris Yoga) agrees that it shall provide its expertise to the Client for the duration of The Self Care Retreat and promises to do its best to ensure that safety is maintained throughout the weekend, that all meals are provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and that accommodation is up to the 4 star standard set out by the Retreat Centre (Potash Barns). Covid-19 guidelines will be adhered to at all times and social distancing measures will be in place in the yoga studio with mats being placed 2 metres apart.


Client deposits are set at 50% of the full price and are non refundable. Full payments are due at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. See Covid-19 Information and FAQs below to know what to do in the event of cancellation due to Covid.

Payment plans are available should you request - please contact Emily on to discuss the payment plan that would work for you.


Retreat prices include all accommodation (including bed linen), meals, a 25 minute treatment, all classes, workshop and workshop materials.

You will be sent a confidential Guest Information Form in advance of your retreat. to help us prepare for each and every guest. We like to know why you have booked and what your expectations are. We also need to know if you have a particular pre-existing injury or medical condition and any allergies, so that we can make sure you will be able to fully enjoy your retreat. Guests will not be able to attend yoga classes if we have not received a completed form in advance of the retreat.

You will receive a Retreat welcome pack where you will find information about how to retreat safely as well as information about the local area should you wish to explore the surroundings.


If you need to cancel your place for any reason please let us know in writing as soon as you can by emailing Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us.

As this retreat incurs administrative costs, we will retain 50% deposit in all circumstances and will apply cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below: –

Days Before Departure Cancellation Charge

  • 45 days or more: 50% of your retreat cost

  • 30-45 days: 75% of your retreat cost

  • Less than 30 days: 100% of retreat cost

Please note that your 50% deposit is non-refundable, although you may be able to move it to another retreat. If you have to cancel less than 45 days before your holiday, you may be able to move your balance to another retreat. This depends on wait lists and availability.


Cancellation by us: If we need to cancel the retreat for reasons not related to Covid-19 we will endeavour to postpone the retreat to a later date and you will have the opportunity to transfer your payment to a future retreat or recieve a full refund.



1. What safety measures will you have in place during the retreat?

The retreat centre and your host Emily Morris are working together to ensure that all of the latest government guidelines are adhered to throughout your stay including social distancing, regular cleaning and cleaning products/hand sanitiser are available for you to use. You are welcome to bring your own if you are sensitive to cleaning product ingredients.

As is usual with Potash Barns, you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries. Bed linen will be provided.

There will be plenty of room in the yoga studio allowing for the 2 metre rule between mats. We request that you bring your own mats, cushions, blocks and/or blankets.

This year the retreat is for up to 10 guests only so that we can make sure there is enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and safe.

This year you will receive a welcome pack including a section on how to retreat safely so you know exactly how things will work including hygiene facilities in the kitchen, dining processes and sharing a bathroom.

You will also receive a Guest Information Form to fill out prior to the retreat to assess your health and ensure that you are safe and well to attend.


2. What happens if I develop Coronavirus symptoms while on retreat?


Your host will endeavour to seek the medical attention you need and make sure you are cared for until you are able to get home or follow the advice of the NHS. 


3. What happens if there is a second spike or my local area or the area surrounding the retreat centre goes on lockdown?


The safety of retreat guests and staff is priority. In the event of this happening you have a few options.


  • If your your area goes on a local lockdown, you can either have your payment transferred as a credit note to use on future retreats or you can receive a refund within 14 days (minus your 25% of your non-refundable deposit - we will waiver the remaining 25% as a gesture of goodwill in unforeseen circumstances)

  • If the country or the local Suffolk area goes into lockdown, we will look to postpone the retreat to a later date. If this happens your options are the same as above.

4. What happens if I decide I no longer want to attend?


If the retreat is still going ahead and you decide to cancel our normal cancellation policy and timeframe applies.


5. What safety measures will be in place for my treatment?


Your treatment therapist will follow a clear hygiene protocol and where necessary will wear a face covering, the treatment room will be thoroughly cleaned between sessions. It may be necessary for you to wear a face covering so please ensure you bring this with you.
